1. What is your current role at Michael Page?

I am currently an Associate Manager in the Operations practice at Michael Page, based in the Mumbai office. I work across industries including chemicals, building materials, industrial machinery, manufacturing, and oil and gas.

I am also part of the Expert Pathway programme at Page, where I focus on developing deep functional expertise within the operations and manufacturing space. My role involves building stronger client relationships, maintaining a robust candidate network, and collaborating with teams across the business to identify opportunities, all while staying closely aligned with market trends.

2. What has your journey been like at Page Group?

I’ve been part of Michael Page for four years, and my journey has been exciting, fast-paced, and incredibly rewarding. I’ve experienced tremendous career growth, including two promotions in four years, and have also had the opportunity to manage and mentor a team member who was promoted within a year.

 

One of the things I value most about Page is the open, low-hierarchy culture. It’s very easy to collaborate with senior leaders, whether they’re in India or in global offices, which creates access, exposure, and constant learning.

3. What do you love about working at Page?

Two things stand out for me.

The first is that this is a meritocratic organisation, where expectations are transparent, targets are clear, and performance directly drives progression. When you put in the work and deliver results, you are recognised.

The second aspect is that the company follows an open, people-oriented culture. The policies promote balance wherein you’re encouraged to work hard but also take time to relax and rejuvenate.

4. How do you enjoy your spare time?

I spend my spare time doing things I’m passionate about, such as playing music. For the past 3 years, I’ve been bringing my band to our office Christmas celebrations to perform carols. I also go to the gym regularly and enjoy playing sports such as cricket, football, and badminton. Additionally, I like to spend time connecting with God and focusing on personal growth and spirituality.

5. Any advice you would share with those considering joining Page?
