The client is seeking an accomplished Chief Operating Officer (COO) with extensive experience in hot-rolled steel manufacturing, plant setup, and operations management. The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully leading the setup and operationalization of large-scale integrated steel plants.

The Site Director will lead the operations of one of the key manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will bring 28+ years of leadership experience in a COO/Director Ops/BU Head roles in heavy & large scale fabrication environment, with a strong background in managing multiple units, end-to-end P&L ownership, and driving operational efficiency.

The role involves managing a global end-to-end collections portfolio across industries. It is a highly strategic position, working closely with senior commercial leadership and executive sponsors at the CFO/COO level, leading a 30-40 member global team to drive B2B collections, process improvements, and dispute resolution, using S4 HANA and in-house reporting tools. This requires strong senior stakeholder engagement, and the ability to influence.

The COO will oversee and manage all the plants, the contract manufacturers, the new projects and sourcing of other finished products, ensuring strategic alignment and optimal performance.
