Job Description

  • Identify potential land opportunities for development in line with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess the viability of land acquisition projects.
  • Lead negotiations with landowners, brokers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms.
  • Oversee legal due diligence processes, including reviewing property titles and resolving disputes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align acquisition strategies with project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory and zoning requirements during the acquisition process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities and other external partners.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on land acquisition progress.

The Successful Applicant

A successful VP - Land Acquisition should have:

  • A degree in real estate, urban planning, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in land acquisition and property development within the building & construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of legal frameworks and regulatory requirements related to land transactions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
