About Our Client

Our client is a globally recognized consumer-tech platform scaling rapidly across Europe and the Americas. As part of their next phase of growth, they are building a greenfield Tech Hub in Bangalore, which will serve as a critical engine for product innovation, engineering excellence, and emerging technologies.

This is a foundational hiring role, with direct exposure to global stakeholders and a mandate to build best-in-class tech recruiting capabilities from the ground up.

Job Description

This is not a traditional recruiting role. You will operate as a builder, operator, and strategic partner, owning both hiring outcomes and the design of the recruiting engine itself.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning end-to-end hiring across Engineering, Product, Design, and emerging tech (ML/AI, Data, Platform) for the India tech hub
  • Building the tech recruiting function from scratch - processes, workflows, and scalable systems
  • Partnering closely with global engineering and product leadership to define structured, high-quality hiring strategies
  • Diagnosing and eliminating process inefficiencies to improve velocity and candidate experience
  • Embedding AI across the recruiting lifecycle (sourcing, funnel optimisation, JD refinement, analytics)
  • Driving proactive talent mapping, competitor intelligence, and pipeline building for critical and niche roles
  • Owning offer management and close, including compensation benchmarking and candidate engagement strategies
  • Bringing strong market insights (talent trends, salary data, skill availability) to influence hiring decisions
  • Collaborating across Europe, US, and India stakeholders in a distributed, async-first environment
  • Contributing to employer brand building through targeted engagement within Bangalore's tech ecosystem



The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in high-growth product, SaaS, or consumer internet environments
  • Proven track record of building or scaling recruiting processes/functions from zero to structure
  • Strong understanding across tech domains (backend, frontend, mobile, data, ML/AI, product, design)
  • Ability to act as a credible partner to engineering stakeholders and challenge hiring decisions where needed
  • Demonstrated ownership in driving process excellence and operational efficiency
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools in recruiting workflows
  • Strong analytical mindset - ability to use data to drive decision-making and storytelling
  • Comfortable working across time zones and global teams
  • High resilience and ability to navigate a competitive, candidate-driven talent market
  • Preferably backed by a technical or engineering academic foundation
