Job Description

  • Achieve 35%-40% year-on-year growth in student admissions and build the institution to a level of strong market reputation resulting in waitlist-based admissions.
  • Provide strategic academic and administrative leadership for overall institutional growth and excellence.
  • Strengthen academics, discipline, innovation, research culture, and student outcomes.
  • Ensure optimum utilization of academic, infrastructure, faculty, and operational resources.
  • Build a strong sports ecosystem capable of producing state, national, and international-level players, including international medal winners.
  • Establish effective systems, procedures, and operational processes to enhance accountability and efficiency.
  • Ensure strong placement outcomes with students securing opportunities in reputed national and multinational companies.
  • Develop strong corporate, academic, and industry networks for collaborations, placements, internships, and institutional MoUs.
  • Attract and retain high-quality academic talent through excellent networking and leadership capabilities.
  • Lead accreditation, ranking, and quality enhancement initiatives including NAAC/NIRF frameworks.
  • Proven experience in independently leading an operational unit with responsibility for annual institutional budgeting and financial planning.
  • To maintain the institution's financial operational self-sufficiency in its operations.
  • The candidate should have a proven track record of successfully fulfilling all the responsibilities outlined above.

The Successful Applicant

  • Ph.D. from a reputed institution.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in higher education leadership and administration.
  • Prior experience as Principal/Senior Principal heading a reputed college imparting traditional courses.
  • Proven success in institutional transformation, admissions growth, placements, research development, and sports excellence.
  • Strong leadership, communication, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Candidates who have successfully undergone the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) process in accordance with UGC norms will have an added advantage.
  • A forward-thinking and visionary approach to higher education leadership is a mandatory requirement
