Job Description

  • Own and drive the South India business (~₹2,000 crore) with responsibility for growth, profitability, and key customer relationships
  • Lead end-to-end commercial engagements with marquee OEMs
  • Drive revenue growth through share of business expansion across existing customers and commercialization of new products
  • Lead RFQs from feasibility assessment to final commercial closure, including costing, pricing, and negotiation
  • Act as the regional commercial authority, ensuring strong margin discipline and alignment between engineering feasibility and customer expectations
  • Build and maintain strong senior-level relationships with OEM stakeholders while serving as the primary interface for the region
  • Mentor and lead a team of Key Account Managers while staying hands-on with strategic and high-value customer engagements
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and NPD for solution development and execution
  • Bring market intelligence, competitor insights, and OEM strategy into business planning and decision-making
  • Drive strong commercial structuring, pricing discipline, and operational rigor across the region
  • Ensure effective coordination for new product development, feasibility, and lifecycle execution
  • Monitor industry trends, customer requirements, and emerging opportunities to strengthen business positioning



The Successful Applicant

A successful Regional Marketing and BD Head should have:

  • 15+ years of experience in auto / auto components, with strong exposure to OEM-facing roles and key account management
  • End-to-end ownership of commercial engagements with marquee OEMs, driving share of business growth and new product commercialization
  • Proven expertise in leading RFQs from feasibility to final closure, including product costing, pricing, and techno-commercial negotiations
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (casting, machining, process economics) to effectively bridge engineering realities with customer expectations
  • Ability to act as the regional commercial authority, bringing sharp commercial judgment and margin discipline into decision-making
  • Track record of managing and growing strategic OEM relationships while maintaining direct senior-level customer connects
  • Experience in leading and mentoring KAMs / customer-facing teams, while staying hands-on with critical engagements
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to deliver competitive and feasible solutions
  • Ability to bring market intelligence, competitive insights, and OEM strategy into business discussions and decision-making
