The Regional Head in Chennai will handle Sales, Business Development and Growth activities across the region of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, while handling a team.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional revenue and profitability targets.
  • Manage and mentor a team of ~8 sales professionals, ensuring capability building and performance excellence.
  • Drive new business development, including upselling and cross-selling across enterprise accounts.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with CXOs and key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for seamless solution delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Track market trends, competitive movements, and adjust sales strategy accordingly.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, business reviews, and pipeline visibility for leadership.
  • Lead sales efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, managed services, and digital workplace solutions.
  • Ensure consistent achievement of sales KPIs, revenue targets, and strategic account growth.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Regional Head should have:

  • Brings 20+ years of IT sales experience with a strong System Integrator (SI) background.
  • Has strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, managed services, and digital workplace solutions.
  • Proven experience leading regional sales teams and carrying P&L responsibility.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence.
  • Skilled at engaging C‑suite leaders and managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and market awareness.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
