Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the financials of multiple projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers to track budgets, expenses, and revenue projections.
  • Monitor project costs and identify variances to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure proper allocation of costs and prepare reconciliations as required.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to project accounting.
  • Work closely with the accounting and finance team to ensure alignment with overall company goals.
  • Support audits and ensure all financial documentation is complete and accurate.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Accountant should be:

  • A qualified chartered accountant with 5 + years of experience
  • Strong exposure to project accounting / job costing
  • Experience in billing, revenue recognition, and cost tracking
  • Hands-on with month-end close and financial reporting
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
