Job Description

  • Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies in all HR operations.
  • Coordinate payroll processing and address employee queries related to compensation and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
  • Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interview schedules and managing candidate communications.
  • Assist in implementing HR initiatives and programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Provide administrative support for training and development activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth HR operations across the organization.

The Successful Applicant

A successful People Operations professional should have:

  • Educational qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in HR operations within the transport and distribution industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HR systems, labour laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
