The role involves drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, legal notices, and agreements, while advising on corporate law, governance, and statutory compliance.It also includes handling litigation and arbitration matters, conducting legal research, supporting internal policies, and coordinating with external counsel.

A diversified organization operating across multiple business units, requiring comprehensive legal support for commercial, corporate, and dispute‑related matters.

Job Description

  • Drafting and finalization of legal notices and replies, legal notes, briefs, pleadings, appeals, MOUs, contracts, Service Level Agreements across all Business Unit's and other deeds/documents.
  • Assist in the formulation, implementation and/or amendment of Company, department policies.
  • Legal research on corporate commercial laws, exchange control law, contract law & advise on statutory compliances.
  • Handling Litigation (NCLT, Civil, and Criminal matters as well as Arbitration Matters).
  • Co-ordination, follow-up and assistance to external counsels

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Consultant should have:

  • LL.B/LL.M
  • 3-6 Years of post-qualification experience
  • Proficiency in contract drafting, etiquette and keen awareness of best practices prevailing in commercial contracts regime.
  • Solid understanding of company laws, corporate laws and principles of corporate governance.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
