Job Description

  • Simplify and enhance the MPCP and target-setting process.
  • Establish a robust cadence for continuous and comprehensive target reviews.
  • Ensure quality and relevance of targets through regular business feedback.
  • Align targets and competencies with revamped Job Descriptions and finalize JDs accordingly.
  • Drive ownership of highly ambitious and stretched business targets by the line.
  • Introduce behavioral goals to reinforce desired cultural outcomes.
  • Design and implement a PMS tailored for a matrix organization.
  • Redefine and strengthen the PMS evaluation process.
  • Develop an objective rating framework balancing outcomes and effort.
  • Redesign promotion criteria based on role, performance, and competencies aligned with Job Evaluation outputs.
  • Ensure timely completion of target setting, PDDs, interim reviews (monthly check-ins), feedback, evaluation, and calibration.
  • Integrate business performance into the evaluation framework and rating distribution.
  • Drive effective communication and structured change management.
  • Establish strong governance through regular reviews, defined cadence, and consequence management.
  • Build manager capability through focused training and change interventions.
  • Collaborate closely with Total Rewards and Talent Management teams to ensure alignment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful applicant for this role should meet the following criteria:

  • A Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 13-18 years of proven expertise in Performance Management within the Automobile Manufacturing industry or a similar sector.
  • MUST- Understanding and experience in PQM methodology and MPCPs (Managing Point Check Point)
  • MUST- Global PMS handling experience
  • MUST- Experience in Change Management or Org Development
  • Strong knowledge of performance appraisal systems and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and compliance standards.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
