Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 support for Azure and AWS cloud environments.
  • Monitor and manage Kubernetes clusters across production and non-production environments.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, container, and cloud-related incidents.
  • Perform incident, problem, and change management activities as per ITIL standards.
  • Support availability, performance, and reliability of cloud-hosted applications.
  • Work closely with L3 teams, architects, and application support teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Manage cloud resources, networking, security policies, and access controls.
  • Execute operational procedures, deployment activities, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Monitor system health using enterprise monitoring and observability tools.
  • Participate in DR drills, patching activities, and platform upgrades.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Cloud Technologies

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure in production environments.



Kubernetes & Containers

  • Strong experience with Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience managing deployments, services, ingress, namespaces, and cluster monitoring.



Operating Systems

  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration.
  • Understanding of Windows Server environments is desirable.



Monitoring & Automation

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as:
    • Azure Monitor / CloudWatch/Prometheus / Grafana / Splunk or equivalent



Networking

  • Good understanding of:
    • DNS / Load Balancers / VPN /Firewalls, VPC/VNET concepts
    • Network troubleshooting



DevOps & Scripting

  • Experience with one or more scripting languages:
    • PowerShell, Bash, Python
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7-9 years of overall IT infrastructure/cloud support experience.
  • Relevant Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, or Cloud certifications are preferred
