Job Description

We are looking for an Observability Integration Engineer to support application teams in implementing OpenTelemetry-based instrumentation and enabling end-to-end observability across systems.

The role involves configuring and integrating observability tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, and Grafana, defining SLIs/SLOs, and ensuring the reliability and availability of monitoring platforms through close collaboration with global engineering teams.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry (OTLP, Collector, Java Agent) and application instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in Java development with the ability to instrument code using OpenTelemetry APIs/SDKs.
  • Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, or Grafana.
  • Good understanding of cloud (AWS), Linux environments, and container technologies (Docker).
  • Knowledge of SLIs/SLOs, microservices architecture, and system monitoring best practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional and global teams.
