Job Description

  • Act as the main IT interface for R&D and product development stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with engineering leaders, product managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Gather, analyse, and translate business and technical requirements into clear IT roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT and software solutions, from requirements through deployment and support.
  • Coordinate multiple projects within Agile / SAFe delivery environments.
  • Manage internal teams and external vendors to ensure quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
  • Define and track project KPIs, risks, dependencies, and financials.
  • Ensure stability and continuity of R&D applications using ITIL best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement across service delivery, DevOps practices, and cloud cost optimisation.
  • Identify and lead AI, ML, and Generative AI initiatives within the R&D domain.
  • Support PoCs, MVPs, and pilot initiatives to translate innovation into business value.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and enterprise architecture standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5-7+ years' experience in IT Business Partnering, IT Project/Program Management, or similar roles.
  • Proven experience delivering cloud-based, data-intensive, or AI-enabled solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud platforms and data/AI services (e.g. Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI technologies, including LLM-based solutions.
  • Experience with Python and common ML frameworks.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira).
  • Experience working closely with R&D, engineering, or product development teams.
  • Solid stakeholder and vendor management capabilities within matrixed organisations.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead without direct authority in a fast-paced environment.
