Job Description

1. Organisation Development & Culture

  • Drive culture‑building initiatives and embed organisational values across teams.
  • Design and implement leadership development programs for managers and future leaders.
  • Lead OD interventions including competency frameworks, talent reviews, and organisational design.
  • Define change‑management programs that align with business strategy.



2. HR Generalist Leadership

  • Own end‑to‑end HR for one business unit, covering talent management, engagement, performance, development, and policies.
  • Build the HR team under this role, ensuring capability development and succession.
  • Partner closely with business leadership to shape people strategy and execution.
  • Ensure strong governance and consistency across systems, processes, and employee experience.



3. Talent & Leadership Development

  • Develop long‑term talent pipelines for key roles.
  • Lead structured programs for managerial capability, behavioural skills, and leadership preparedness.
  • Partner with business heads to identify development gaps and solve them through OD frameworks.



4. Culture, Values & People Practices

  • Champion a values‑driven culture based on humility, integrity, professionalism, and respect.
  • Design initiatives that shape behaviour, collaboration, and performance orientation.
  • Act as a cultural custodian across business units.



5. Senior Leadership Engagement

  • Work directly with the CHRO and CXO leadership on strategic HR initiatives.
  • Provide data‑driven insights, people analytics, and talent intelligence for decision‑making.
  • Operate effectively within a promoter‑led environment with high expectations on professionalism, discretion, and maturity.

The Successful Applicant

Must‑Have Experience

  • Strong OD orientation - culture, values, leadership development, organisation design.
  • 17+ years of experience in HR with experience in managing PAN Organisation HR Agenda
  • Full‑stack HR Generalist experience managing end‑to‑end HR for a business or plant.
  • Experience working in manufacturing organisations.
  • Ability to build and lead HR teams.
  • Values‑driven, grounded, composed, and professional personality.
  • Balanced communication style - mature, patient, and approachable.



Preferred

  • South‑Indian roots for cultural alignment and stability.
  • Experience working in promoter‑driven setups.
  • Diversity candidates preferred.
  • No equity expectation - compensation is fixed + variable.
  • A long‑term mindset and aspiration to grow into a CHRO succession role.
