Job Description

  • Develop and execute the utility sales strategy for photovoltaic cells and modules
  • Build and manage relationships with solar developers, IPPs, and EPC players
  • Drive business growth within both utility-scale and C&I (Commercial & Industrial) segments
  • Identify and secure large-scale project opportunities across regions
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, and contract closures
  • Monitor market dynamics, policy changes, and competitor landscape in the solar industry
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, supply chain, and technical support
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Utility-Sales should have:

  • Proven experience in solar/renewable energy sales, specifically in photovoltaic modules or related products
  • Strong network and established connects with developers, EPCs, and C&I clients
  • Demonstrated success in handling utility-scale project sales
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams
  • Willingness to travel and engage with clients across key markets
