Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle, supporting a large and distributed workforce
  • Own and oversee high-volume payroll operations, ensuring 100% accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across multiple entities and locations
  • Manage statutory compliance in payroll (PF, ESIC, TDS, gratuity, etc.) and stay ahead of regulatory changes
  • Drive payroll transformation initiatives, including automation, controls, reconciliations, and audit readiness
  • Own HRMS (Darwinbox or equivalent), including system scalability, integrations, and data governance
  • Ensure seamless coordination between payroll, finance, and compliance teams
  • Build and standardize SOPs to support scale, reduce manual dependency, and improve efficiency
  • Lead audits, risk management, and compliance frameworks across HR operations
  • Manage HR operations delivery for a geographically dispersed and growing employee base
  • Drive performance management cycles, including calibration and compensation planning
  • Partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to align HR operations with business growth

The Successful Applicant

  • 12+ years of experience in HR Operations, with significant exposure to large-scale payroll management
  • Proven experience managing high employee volumes and multi-location operations
  • Strong expertise in payroll compliance, audits, and HRMS platforms (Darwinbox preferred)
  • Experience building scalable HR processes and automation-led environments
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage complexity and stakeholder expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in fast-growing, evolving organisations
