Job Description

The key responsibilities are -

  • Develop and drive the corporate Health Management strategy aligned with EHS goals, compliance requirements, and business priorities.
  • Lead occupational health, preventive care, medical surveillance, and fitness-for-work programs across all locations.
  • Establish and oversee emergency medical preparedness, crisis response, and incident management frameworks.
  • Drive employee wellness initiatives covering physical health, mental well-being, fatigue management, and lifestyle risk reduction.
  • Govern medical infrastructure, healthcare vendors, hospitals, and occupational health services to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Manage health analytics, KPIs, digital health systems, and data-driven reporting while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Serve as the organization's senior health leader, influencing executives, building team capability, and promoting a strong Zero Harm culture.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate is -

  • Senior medical professional with an MBBS and a postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health, Industrial Medicine, Community Medicine, or Public Health.
  • Brings 20-25 years of experience, including significant exposure to engineering, energy, infrastructure, EPC, manufacturing, or heavy industry sectors.
  • Has 8-10 years of leadership experience as a Corporate Medical Head or Head of Health Management overseeing multiple sites and locations.
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and the ability to align health initiatives with organizational strategy and EHS objectives.
  • Experienced in influencing senior leaders and managing workforce health, contractor health, and high-risk operational environments.
  • Proven capability to lead emergency response, crisis management, and health-related decision-making under pressure.
  • Recognized as a credible, ethical leader with strong communication skills and expertise in building a culture of wellness, prevention, and Zero Harm.
