This person will be accountable for building and leading the organisation's enterprise-wide Data & AI Center of Excellence. The incumbent will establish a group-wide data and AI ecosystem across manufacturing plants, multiple business units, and global joint ventures through data-driven decision making and AI-powered transformation.

Job Description

  • Lead the Group Data & AI CoE strategy by establishing the operating model, defining the AI/data roadmap, prioritizing high-impact initiatives, and driving measurable business value across all business units
  • Build and scale the enterprise data & AI platform including data lakehouse, data mesh, SAP integration, MLOps/LLMOps infrastructure, GenAI architecture, and self-service analytics capabilities
  • Drive AI-led transformation across manufacturing and business functions through use cases such as predictive maintenance, computer vision quality inspection, demand forecasting, connected vehicle analytics, revenue optimization, and operational intelligence.
  • Establish robust data governance, observability, and trust frameworks covering data quality, lineage, metadata management, data contracts, security, compliance, and Responsible AI standards
  • Lead AI engineering, MLOps, and GenAI adoption by implementing model lifecycle management, LLM governance, RAG frameworks, monitoring, auditability, and production-grade AI deployment practices.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in data analytics and artificial intelligence.
  • Strong knowledge of AI tools and technologies.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex data sets.
  • Familiarity with data compliance and governance standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • A degree in a relevant field such as data science, computer science, or engineering.
