Job Description

  • Partner with business and plant leadership to align people strategy with business objectives.
  • Lead organization design, workforce planning, and manpower productivity initiatives.
  • Drive recruitment and workforce pipeline development across leadership, technical, and shop-floor roles.
  • Build and institutionalize a robust performance management and accountability framework.
  • Lead talent management, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
  • Drive capability-building initiatives, competency frameworks, and shop-floor multi-skilling programs.
  • Manage industrial relations, employee relations, grievance management, and workforce governance.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, factory regulations, and contractor governance.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 13-20 years of progressive HR leadership experience within manufacturing, engineering, automotive, industrial, or precision engineering organizations.
  • Strong expertise in Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, and labor law compliance.
  • Experience managing multi-plant or multi-business HR environments.
  • Proven capability in manpower planning, workforce productivity, and organizational design.
  • Strong exposure to talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior business and operations leaders.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workforce dynamics, including blue-collar and contract labor management.
  • Ability to drive HR transformation and build scalable people processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and change leadership capabilities.
  • MBA/PGDM/MSW in HR, Personnel Management, or Industrial Relations from a reputed institution.
