Job Description

  • Owning end-to-end payroll administration for India and coordinating payroll delivery across Singapore and other AMEA markets.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of payroll inputs, validations, approvals, reconciliation, and employee payments.
  • Maintaining compliance with country-specific payroll calendars, statutory requirements, cut-off dates, internal controls, and documentation standards.
  • Partnering with Finance on payroll funding, accounting inputs, cost allocation, reconciliations, statutory remittances and reporting.
  • Managing external payroll vendors, including SLAs, delivery quality, escalations, governance reviews and process improvements.
  • Overseeing payroll activities across the employee lifecycle, including new joiners, transfers, employee-data changes, benefits inputs, exits, and full-and-final settlements.
  • Maintaining accurate and audit-ready payroll registers, approvals, reports, and statutory-compliance documentation.
  • Representing the payroll function during internal audits, external audits, statutory inspections, and management reviews.
  • Identifying payroll risks, compliance concerns, and control gaps, and implementing suitable corrective and preventive measures.
  • Driving continuous improvement across payroll SOPs, dashboards, checklists, exception tracking, and control mechanisms.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bring 8 to 12 years of payroll experience, including responsibility for end-to-end payroll operations.
  • Have hands-on Singapore payroll experience, which is a mandatory requirement for the role.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of payroll controls, statutory compliance, reconciliations, audit requirements and payroll accounting.
  • Have experience managing third-party payroll vendors, SLAs, escalations and governance processes.
