Job Description

  • Lead the finance controllership function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong governance.
  • Oversee accounting operations, month-end and year-end close processes, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and US GAAP requirements.
  • Drive the implementation of robust internal controls, policies, and financial processes.
  • Partner with business leaders to support strategic decision-making and organizational growth.
  • Lead audits, regulatory filings, and stakeholder reporting requirements.
  • Build scalable finance infrastructure to support a rapidly growing business.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team while establishing best practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong academic credentials.
  • Significant experience in finance controllership, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Deep understanding of both Ind AS and US GAAP frameworks.
  • Prior experience within SaaS, AI, or high-growth technology companies.
  • Proven track record of working in startup environments, particularly through scaling phases.
  • Demonstrated success in building, transforming, and automating finance functions.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and business partnering capabilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
