Job Description

  • Lead enterprise-wide Data Quality and Data Stewardship functions across critical business domains including customer, product, finance, supply chain, and order-to-cash processes.
  • Develop and execute multi-year data quality and governance strategies aligned with business outcomes.
  • Drive foundational data improvement initiatives by identifying systemic issues, prioritizing business impact, and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Partner with technology and business stakeholders to increase adoption of governance and quality frameworks.
  • Build and implement AI-readiness capabilities through high-quality metadata, business definitions, governance controls, and trust mechanisms.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives to integrate AI into stewardship and quality management processes.
  • Manage and develop high-performing stewardship teams, ensuring clear accountability, capability building, and operational excellence.
  • Own data quality operating models including profiling, monitoring, rule management, remediation, validation, and closure processes.
  • Drive root-cause analysis programs to eliminate recurring data issues and improve process controls.
  • Create executive dashboards and scorecards to provide governance transparency and performance visibility.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to embed preventive controls within enterprise data ecosystems.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and contribute to global governance and transformation initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 10+ years of experience across Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Stewardship, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, DGPO, or similar methodologies.
  • Advanced SQL skills for profiling, reconciliation, anomaly detection, and analytical investigations.
  • Experience implementing and operating enterprise-grade data quality platforms, including Collibra Data Quality.
  • Strong understanding of stewardship models, data ownership structures, business glossaries, and governance operating frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing AI capabilities within governance or data management environments.
  • Expertise in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to build executive-level dashboards and communication frameworks using BI tools.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and influencing capabilities.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, enterprise data architectures, or large-scale transformation programs would be advantageous
