Our client is a globally recognised, technology-led organisation experiencing significant growth across international markets. With a workforce of over 4500 employees spread across multiple geographies, the organisation is embarking on an ambitious expansion journey and is expected to substantially increase its scale over the next few years. To support this growth, they are looking to appoint a seasoned HR Operations leader who can build a scalable, standardised, and future-ready HR Operations function across global regions.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the Head of Global HR Operations will be responsible for leading and transforming the end-to-end HR Operations function across multiple regions. This role will play a critical part in establishing operational excellence, governance, compliance, and service delivery standards that can support a rapidly scaling global workforce.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage the global Hire-to-Retire HR Operations lifecycle across multiple geographies.
  • Drive operational ownership of multi-country payroll, benefits administration, employee lifecycle processes, and workforce compliance.
  • Establish and execute a global HR Operations roadmap aligned to the organisation's growth strategy.
  • Standardise, simplify, and optimise HR processes across regions, creating scalable operating models and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure audit readiness, statutory compliance, and risk mitigation across all employee-related operations.
  • Build robust service delivery mechanisms and operational controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.
  • Partner closely with HR leadership, finance, legal, and regional business stakeholders to drive alignment and execution.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR Operations team of approximately 10 professionals.
  • Drive accountability, performance management, and capability building within the HR Operations function.
  • Support organisational scaling initiatives through process design, operational transformation, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Establish KPIs, service metrics, and governance mechanisms to measure operational effectiveness and delivery quality.



The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in global HR Operations alongside a demonstrated track record of building and scaling HR Operations functions within high-growth, international environments.

Key requirements include:

  • MBA from a reputed institution preferred.
  • 14+ years of progressive HR experience with significant exposure to HR Operations leadership roles.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end HR Operations for large employee populations, ideally within organisations of 6,000-8,000+ employees or those that have undergone significant scaling.
  • Strong hands-on expertise across payroll, benefits, employee lifecycle management, compliance, governance, and audits.
  • Demonstrated experience leading HR Operations across the US and Europe, with additional exposure to APAC and Middle East markets preferred.
  • Experience operating within complex multi-country environments and managing regional variations while driving global standardisation.
  • Strong people leadership experience managing and developing sizeable HR Operations teams.
