Job Description

The key responsibilities are -

  • Lead end‑to‑end external communication strategy, ensuring narratives align with overall business goals and strategic priorities.
  • Build and execute a comprehensive external communications calendar across multiple functions and strategic business units.
  • Support internal communication efforts by delivering impactful campaigns for a large, nationwide employee base, using emailers, Yammer, videos, and other channels.
  • Strengthen market positioning with a strong focus on technology, innovation, sustainability, digitization, electrification, and automation.
  • Manage strategic communication projects for top leadership, including CXO‑level initiatives and high‑visibility events.
  • Drive media visibility and grow share of voice with leading Tier‑1 media, while managing strong relationships with PR agencies, journalists, and media houses.
  • Collaborate with major industry bodies (e.g., CII, FICCI, TERI, ASSOCHAM) to enhance external positioning and strategic influence

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate -

  • Has 12+ years of experience managing external (80%) and internal (20%) communications for top-tier companies, ideally MNCs or leading Indian organizations.
  • Brings strong B2B industry experience, preferably from sectors like energy, industrials, automation, healthcare, HVAC, automobiles, consulting, oil & gas, or other industrial domains.
  • Demonstrates proven expertise in media management, with strong relationships across PR agencies, top journalists, media houses, and policymakers.
  • Possesses strong leadership and people‑management skills, with experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams in matrixed, global environments.
  • Excels in strategic content development and execution; journalism experience is considered an added advantage.
  • Shows exceptional project management, problem‑solving, and multitasking capabilities, with the ability to handle complex global processes under tight timelines.
  • Is proficient in marketing automation and productivity tools, including Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Tableau, and Microsoft Office applications.
