Job Description

  • Define and standardize mechanical and cooling strategies for hyperscale data centers.
  • Lead end-to-end design of advanced cooling systems for high-density AI workloads.
  • Ensure integration with electrical, controls, CSA, IT, and security systems.
  • Manage consultants, contractors, OEMs, and technical vendor evaluations.
  • Drive compliance with industry standards, quality, and reliability requirements.
  • Optimize energy efficiency, sustainability, and operational costs.
  • Oversee water utility, treatment, and reuse strategies.
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and leadership on design, performance, and risk management.

The Successful Applicant

Education

*Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

*Master's degree in Thermal Engineering, HVAC, or related fields (preferred).

*Additional certifications such as LEED/IGBC, PMP, or Uptime Institute credentials are advantageous.Experience

* 8 to 12+ years in mechanical design for data centers, mission-critical facilities, or high-density industrial complexes.

* Strong exposure to designing cooling systems for hyperscale data centers (20 MW to 200 MW+).

* Experience with liquid cooling (DLC), immersion cooling, or advanced AI thermal solutions highly preferred.

* Experience working with major hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta) is a strong plus.
