As a Cyber Security Engineer in Hyderabad, Act as a reference technical expert for cybersecurity projects within the IT Europe SecOps team, in coordination with infrastructure technical platforms, the cybersecurity team and SecOps project managers.Drive the continuous improvement of IT Europe cybersecurity posture by overseeing and contributing to the implementation of infrastructure security controls.

Job Description

Resposibilities

  • Ensure and drive compliance of IT Europe infrastructure with cybersecurity policies, norms and standards.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of security controls on infrastructure components
  • Provide technical expertise to support SecOps projects and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with operation teams to integrate security requirements into build and run processes
  • Present infrastructure security initiatives to key stakeholders such as Europe CTO and CISO
  • Lead the firewall securitization project for all Europe-managed firewalls
  • Manage the Tufin security policy management tool end-to-end: oversee updates/upgrades, ensure VM management, and handle license management
  • Perform security assessments and traffic analysis on network rules
  • Support L'Oréal resilience by contributing to the Disaster Recovery Plan
  • Contribute to security audit requirements by providing evidences, explanations and action plans on infrastructure security.
  • Advise and support IT Europe towards infrastructure security continuous improvement
  • Promote automation of security controls and monitoring where possible to increase efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Manage and optimize enterprise security infrastructure including Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and WAF.
  • Implement and maintain security controls across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and compliance reviews.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to implement security best practices.
  • Support SIEM monitoring, threat detection, and incident response activities.
  • Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Infrastructure Security, or Network Security.
  • Strong expertise with Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco).
  • Experience in Cloud Security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Hands-on knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPN, WAF, and Vulnerability Management.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.



Preferred Certifications:

CISSP, CCSP, AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty, Palo Alto or Fortinet certifications.
