The Manager - Communications & PR will be responsible for shaping, strengthening, and stewarding the Group's corporate brand and reputation across all stakeholders. This role will lead integrated communication, brand storytelling, and public relations strategies for the Group, ensuring consistency, credibility, and positive brand salience across education, healthcare, media, and technology businesses.

Job Description

Strategic Communications & Brand Management



  • Develop and execute an integrated group‑level communication and brand strategy aligned with the organisation's vision, values, and long‑term growth agenda.


  • Ensure consistent brand voice, positioning, and messaging across all business units and communication platforms.


  • Support leadership communication, including corporate announcements, key messages, speeches, and thought‑leadership content.



Public Relations & Media Management



  • Lead the organisation's PR and media strategy, including press relations, media outreach, and stakeholder engagement.


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, journalists, and key opinion leaders across print, digital, television, and regional media.


  • Manage proactive media pitching, press releases, interviews, press briefings, and crisis communication as required.



Content & Creative Leadership



  • Drive high‑quality, impactful content development across media releases, corporate narratives, brand campaigns, digital platforms, and internal communications.


  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to conceptualise creative storytelling that enhances brand recall and trust.


  • Review and curate all external communication to ensure accuracy, tone, and brand alignment.



Reputation & Stakeholder Management



  • Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and emerging issues that may influence organisational reputation.


  • Develop frameworks for issue management, crisis preparedness, and response planning.


  • Support communication initiatives with regulators, partners, community groups, and other key stakeholders.



Governance & Collaboration



  • Work closely with marketing, HR, business leaders, and agency partners to ensure integrated communication outcomes.


  • Establish communication guidelines, processes, and performance metrics for PR and brand initiatives.


  • Manage PR agencies and vendors, ensuring performance, value, and strategic alignment.



The Successful Applicant

  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, PR, or brand strategy, preferably within a large group, conglomerate, or multi-sector organisation.
  • Proven track record in managing group-level communication strategies and high-stakes media engagement.
  • Prior experience working with senior leadership and handling complex reputational scenarios is essential.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability.
  • High creative sensibility for content, storytelling, and brand expression.
  • Sound understanding of India's media landscape, including regional and vernacular media.
  • Mature judgment, stakeholder empathy, discretion, and the ability to perform under pressure.
