About Our Client

Our client is a confidential, PE-backed manufacturing organization and a leader within its segment. The business currently employs approximately 500_ people across plant and corporate operations and has ambitious growth plans involving revenue expansion, workforce scaling, plant growth, and a future IPO

Job Description

  • Report directly to the CEO and act as the lead people partner for the organization.
  • Drive HR transformation and organizational readiness aligned with future IPO requirements.
  • Build scalable HR frameworks, governance structures, and compliance mechanisms.
  • Strengthen Industrial Relations and employee engagement across manufacturing operations.
  • Develop strong relationships with local associations, ITIs, vocational institutes, and workforce ecosystems.
  • Lead workforce planning and support employee growth from ~600 to 1,000+ employees.
  • Institutionalize structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) and refresher training programs for operators and frontline employees.
  • Build leadership development and capability-building frameworks for white-collar talent.
  • Enhance employee communication, culture, and workforce engagement initiatives.
  • Review, refine, and formalize HR policies, systems, and processes across the organization.
  • Drive performance management, talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
  • Proven experience as a Head HR, CHRO, or a strong CHRO-ready leader.
  • Significant exposure to manufacturing-led organizations.
  • Deep expertise in Industrial Relations and plant HR.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling organizations through high-growth phases.
  • Experience building HR systems, governance frameworks, and processes from evolving or entrepreneurial environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience working closely with founders, CEOs, and leadership teams.
  • Hands-on leadership style with willingness to spend significant time at manufacturing locations.
  • Experience in workforce-intensive environments involving both blue-collar and white-collar populations.
  • Experience supporting greenfield projects, plant expansion, or manufacturing scale-up initiatives.
  • Electronics, electrical, industrial manufacturing, automotive, defence, or similar sector experience would be highly preferred.
