Job Description

The key responsibilities for the role are -

  • Act as a strategic partner to the Group Managing Director, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations on strategic and operational priorities.
  • Support senior management engagement by coordinating executive presentations, business reviews, and reporting, while highlighting risks and roadblocks.
  • Manage customer and external executive engagement, including planning meetings, preparing agendas, and ensuring smooth execution of industry and client interactions.
  • Serve as an organisational liaison, aligning cross‑functional teams, advancing key initiatives, and tracking execution of strategic decisions.
  • Coordinate closely with Communications, Investor Relations, and Value Creation teams to align internal and external messaging, content, and meeting agendas.
  • Work with the Executive Assistant to optimise the GMD's calendar, ensuring readiness, prioritisation, and smooth orchestration of all engagements.
  • Supervise and contribute to multiple strategic projects, taking ownership of special initiatives as needed to drive organisational impact.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Chief of Staff should be:

  • A graduate or postgraduate from a premier institution (IIM, ISB, IIT or equivalent), with strong academic and analytical foundations.
  • 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, Chief of Staff roles, or similar positions supporting senior leadership in promoter/Chairman/MD offices.
  • Proven ability to operate in a cross‑functional, matrixed environment, demonstrating high collaboration, teamwork, and comfort with complex problem‑solving.
  • Exceptional organisational and coordination skills, capable of aligning senior management activities to strategic and business objectives.
  • Strong capability in creating executive‑level presentations and communication materials that simplify complex topics and support decision‑making.
  • Demonstrated agility, adaptability, and responsiveness, with the ability to shift focus quickly and thrive in a fast‑moving, priority‑driven environment.
