The client provides charter services within India and overseas, along with consultancy support for business aviation and aircraft management

Job Description

  • The role is accountable for overall business performance including safety, regulatory compliance, P&L management, charter business growth, fleet utilization, customer experience, strategic expansion, and organizational capability development.
  • The CEO will drive the transition from primarily serving internal Group requirements to becoming a leading premium business aviation charter operator serving external corporate and high-net-worth customers while maintaining the highest standards of governance and safety.
  • Develop and drive the overall strategy for the aviation business.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure efficiency across all functions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure profitability.
  • Lead a team and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the aviation sector.
  • Represent the organisation in high-level meetings and negotiations.
  • Full P&L ownership of General Aviation business.
  • Accountability for annual operating budget.
  • Revenue growth through third-party charter operations.
  • Fleet investment and aircraft acquisition evaluation.
  • EBITDA and cash flow management.
  • Aircraft-level profitability oversight.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in a senior management role.
  • A solid understanding of the aviation industry and infrastructure sector.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Confidence in managing financial performance and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
