About Our Client

Our client is making a significant long-term investment in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), foundational models, multimodal reasoning, and next-generation autonomous systems. They are establishing a research-led AI Centre of Excellence designed to bridge breakthrough scientific innovation with large-scale commercial impact, creating intelligent systems that move beyond narrow AI applications.

Job Description

  • Define and execute the organisation's AGI and frontier AI roadmap.
  • Lead research in foundation models, multimodal intelligence and agentic AI.
  • Build and scale a world-class team of AI researchers and engineers.
  • Drive technology transfer from advanced research to deployed products.
  • Establish scalable infrastructure for large-scale model training and evaluation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Ph.D. or Master's from a leading institution in AI, ML or Computer Science.
  • 12+ years of technology leadership with deep AI research experience.
  • Strong expertise in LLMs, multimodal models, reasoning systems and AGI-related research.
  • Proven experience leading elite AI research teams and innovation programmes.
  • Recognised publications, patents or contributions to frontier AI research.
