Job Description

  • Lead the marketing and business development function for the hydrocarbon division.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive sustainable business growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across international and domestic markets.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, end-users, and key stakeholders.
  • Drive business development initiatives across refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, fertilizer, and chemical sectors.
  • Lead tendering, estimation, proposal preparation, commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Develop and manage a strong export order book and expand the company's international footprint.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance to enhance business strategy.
  • Manage and mentor a team comprising marketing and estimation professionals across Mumbai and Delhi.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic customers and key accounts.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with the COO and senior leadership team to achieve organizational objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 20+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales within heavy engineering or industrial manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in sales and export business development within the hydrocarbon sector.
  • Strong exposure to refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, fertilizer, and chemical industries.
  • Sound understanding of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, and other static equipment.
  • Strong experience in tendering, estimation, proposal management, and commercial negotiations.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and customer focus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for customer meetings and industry engagements.
