Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsDrive large-scale manufacturing transformationLead end-to-end ownership of a ₹500 Cr businessAbout Our ClientThe company is recognised for its technical capabilities in forging, machining, gear manufacturing and advanced engineering solutions, serving leading OEMs and industrial customers while pursuing a significant transformation agenda focused on operational excellence, profitability improvement and sustainable growth.Job DescriptionFull P&L ownership including revenue, EBITDA, working capital, cash flow, ROCE and growth delivery.Lead multi-plant manufacturing operations covering forging, machining, gear manufacturing, metallurgy and heat treatment processes.Drive operational excellence through TPM, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, quality systems and disciplined execution.Improve throughput, productivity, OEE, asset utilisation, delivery performance and cost competitiveness.Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to align demand, capacity, production, procurement, inventory and customer commitments.Develop and execute annual operating plans, budgets, rolling forecasts and long-term business plans.Build strong relationships with OEM customers and negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, inflation recovery and new business opportunities.Strengthen Key Account Management and customer retention while ensuring profitable business growth.Develop a resilient supply chain through supplier partnerships, performance improvement and cost optimisation initiatives.Ensure rigorous capital discipline, investment governance and effective utilisation of fixed and working capital.Build leadership capability across plant operations, engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams.Establish a strong performance culture with clear accountability, succession planning and leadership development.Partner effectively with the promoter leadership team while exercising independent judgement and decision-making authority.The Successful ApplicantMore than 25 years of relevant experience in automotive components, precision engineering, gears, forging, machining or related manufacturing industries.Engineering degree in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy or a related discipline; MBA preferred but not essential.Strong technical expertise across forging, machining, heat treatment, grinding, metallurgy, tooling, maintenance and quality systems.Demonstrated success in leading manufacturing transformation and improving operational performance at scale.Proven experience managing multiple plants and substantial P&L responsibility.Strong expertise in S&OP, business planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.Excellent customer-facing commercial skills with significant OEM negotiation experience.Strong supplier development and commercial management capability, particularly within MSME ecosystems.Experience working directly with promoters, founders or owner-led businesses.Proven ability to build high-performing teams, develop successors and drive cultural change.An execution-focused leader with resilience, commercial acumen, financial discipline, technical credibility and high personal integrity.What's on OfferOpportunity to lead and transform a sizeable manufacturing business with full ownership and decision-making responsibility.Direct influence on strategy, growth, operations and profitability.High visibility role working closely with the Promoter Chairman and Managing Director.Platform to build a world-class manufacturing organisation and create long-term enterprise value.Attractive executive compensation package aligned with business performance and long-term success.Quote job refJN-102026-7116514Job summaryFunctionEngineering & ManufacturingSub SectorManufacturing operationsWhat is your area of specialisation?Industrial / ManufacturingLocationInternationalJob TypePermanentJob ReferenceJN-102026-7116514
