About Our Client

Our client is a leading NBFC with a strong presence across lending and diversified financial services.

Job Description

  • Manage and oversee all legal disputes and litigation/arbitration matters for the organization.
  • Handle core litigation forums including Civil suits, consumer matters, DRT/DRAT, NCLT, SARFAESI, arbitration, Section 138, insolvency, and criminal proceedings.
  • Drive recovery and enforcement actions including possession, auctions, and mortgage enforcement.
  • Manage regulatory litigation and interactions with RBI / NHB / SEBI.

The Successful Applicant

A successful VP-Litigation should have:

  • A degree in Law from a recognized institution.
  • 15-20 years of PQE in litigation roles within Law Firms / NBFCs.
  • Strong experience in financial services litigation, recovery, and enforcement frameworks.
  • Exceptional legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in managing external legal counsel and handling high-stakes cases.
