Job Description

  • Lead the end-to-end corporate and SME credit function, ensuring a balanced approach between growth and risk management.
  • Define and enhance credit policies, underwriting frameworks, approval matrices, and portfolio risk standards.
  • Drive credit assessment and approval of large ticket lending opportunities ranging from approximately ₹25 Cr to ₹500 Cr.
  • Monitor portfolio health through delinquency trends, vintage analysis, concentration reviews, and early warning indicators.
  • Chair credit committees and provide strategic oversight on complex, structured, and high-value credit exposures.
  • Build cash flow-based and collateral-backed lending programmes across manufacturing, infrastructure, supply chain finance, and working capital segments.
  • Collaborate with banks, co-lending partners, institutional investors, and regulatory stakeholders on credit-related matters.
  • Leverage analytics, AI, and machine learning frameworks to improve underwriting quality, customer outcomes, and portfolio performance while ensuring RBI and governance compliance.

The Successful Applicant

Experience

  • 10-12+ years of experience in SME Lending, Supply Chain Finance, Corporate Banking, NBFCs, Fintech Lending, or Credit Risk Management.
  • Progression through Regional Credit Head, National Credit Head, Senior Credit Leadership, or equivalent roles.
  • Prior experience managing credit teams rather than operating solely as an individual contributor.
  • Extensive exposure to large-ticket lending transactions ranging from ₹25 Cr to ₹500 Cr.
