This role focuses on co-leading and strengthening Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives across the organisation to drive operational excellence and improve problem-solving capability. It involves designing programmes, managing large-scale transformation initiatives, and enabling capability building across multiple business units.

Job Description

  • Lead and co-design enterprise-level TQM initiatives and transformation programmes
  • Drive implementation of PSP (improvement projects) at Silver and Blue levels across business units
  • Develop and standardise systems for project evaluation, governance, and delivery excellence
  • Design and deliver training programmes for middle and senior management
  • Facilitate large-scale problem-solving initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
  • Conduct business diagnostics and enable improvement strategies across functions
  • Manage corporate TQM programmes, including budgeting, external consultants, and governance
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, business heads, and cross-functional teams to drive adoption
  • Lead development of trainers, facilitators, and capability-building frameworks

The Successful Applicant

Experience:

  • 20+ years in operational excellence, TQM, or business transformation roles



Education:

  • B.Tech/B.E. (mandatory); MBA/PGDM preferred



Certifications & methodologies:

  • Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)
  • Strong exposure to Lean, TPS, TPM, TRIZ, or similar frameworks



Key skills:

  • Programme management of large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Strong facilitation and training experience (including senior leadership)
  • Diagnostic/assessment exposure (Deming Prize, MBNQA, CII/Exim, etc.)
  • Stakeholder management across senior leadership levels
  • Problem-solving, analytics, and conceptual thinking



Additional advantage:

  • Experience with digital transformation or integrating technology into improvement initiatives
