Job Description

  • Define and execute the overall product strategy and growth roadmap for the Micro LAP business.
  • Identify market opportunities, customer segments, and competitive positioning to strengthen portfolio growth.
  • Design and optimize product constructs including pricing, underwriting, eligibility, sourcing, and customer journeys.
  • Work closely with Credit, Risk, Sales, Operations, Analytics, and Technology teams to drive scalable execution.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, profitability, asset quality, and customer experience metrics.
  • Drive partnerships, distribution strategies, and new channel development for business expansion.
  • Use market insights and data analytics to improve product penetration and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with organizational risk frameworks.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Strategy - Micro Lap should have:

  • 8 - 15 years of experience in secured Micro LAP / affordable finance products, with strong exposure to product strategy and business management.
  • Strong understanding of Micro LAP, MSME lending,, and retail credit ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to scale products, drive profitability, and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities.
  • MBA / PGDM from a reputed institute preferred.
