Job Description

  • Lead overall sales and business operations for Uttar Pradesh with full accountability for revenue and profitability.
  • Develop and execute state-level strategies to drive growth, expand distribution, and increase market share.
  • Manage and strengthen distributor partnerships, ensuring effective reach across urban and rural markets.
  • Navigate state excise policies, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements specific to Uttar Pradesh.
  • Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, pricing, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to drive brand visibility, activations, and trade engagement initiatives.
  • Track sales performance, forecast demand, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team, driving capability development and performance management.
  • Ensure strong execution across on-trade and off-trade channels.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in the alcobev industry, with strong exposure to large state management (preferably Uttar Pradesh or similar markets).
  • In-depth understanding of UP excise regulations, route-to-market, and distribution complexities.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling sales and managing large distributor networks.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive performance in diverse geographies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a structured approach to business planning and execution.
  • Highly result-oriented with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
