Job Description

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure software systems.
  • Drive technical architecture decisions and champion engineering best practices.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Improve developer experience through better tooling, workflows, and code quality initiatives.
  • Contribute to project planning, estimation, technical risk assessment, and delivery.
  • Identify technical challenges and implement innovative solutions.
  • Drive system reliability, performance optimisation, testing, and debugging efforts.
  • Monitor existing systems and propose enhancements to improve scalability and maintainability.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10-14 years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
  • Proven experience leading complex software development projects and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalable platform architecture, and modern design principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, Event Sourcing, and Clean Architecture.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments and CI/CD-driven development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with experience addressing complex technical and scalability challenges.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
