Job Description

  • Advising on complex investment, financing, and transactional matters.
  • Supporting the structuring and ongoing management of regulated investment vehicles and investment platforms.
  • Providing legal and regulatory advice on SEBI regulations, FEMA, FDI frameworks, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in debt financing transactions, structured investments, lending arrangements, private credit transactions, or other complex financing structures.
  • Supporting cross-border investments and transaction structuring activities.
  • Managing external counsel and coordinating legal support through the transaction lifecycle.
  • Supporting corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic legal projects.
  • Monitoring legal and regulatory developments impacting investment and financing activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified lawyer with 8-12 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong exposure to funds, regulatory, financing, or transactional legal work.
  • Knowledge of SEBI regulations, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Foreign Portfolio Investments (FPIs), FEMA, FDI regulations, and cross-border investment frameworks.
  • Strong commercial judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
