Job Description

  • Build the India business from the ground up, with a core focus on securing partnerships with the top 10-20 CROs and CDMOs.
  • Act as the first point of presence in India, shaping the commercial strategy and establishing long‑term industry relationships.
  • Drive high‑value consultative selling of advanced antibody‑based products and scientific solutions tailored to discovery, development, and translational workflows.
  • Leverage your existing CRO/CDMO network to generate immediate traction and accelerate market entry.
  • Develop strategic account plans across major R&D organizations, mapping key influencers and decision‑makers.
  • Collaborate with global commercial, product, and technical teams to provide tailored proposals, demos, and customer support.
  • Identify scientific and commercial opportunities, gather market intelligence, and shape future India strategy.
  • Represent the company at conferences, industry events, and high‑impact customer engagements.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM compliance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Account Manager should have:

  • Ph.D. or Master's in Life Sciences with 7-10+ years in life‑science sales.
  • Strong commercial experience selling into CROs, CDMOs, and biopharma R&D.
  • Deep understanding of antibody applications (IHC, Flow, ELISA, HCI, etc.).
  • Proven track record of building and expanding high‑value accounts.
  • A self‑starter with the drive to work independently and build a market from scratch.
  • Strong network and credibility across India's leading CRO/CDMO ecosystem.
  • Excellent scientific engagement skills with the ability to influence senior R&D stakeholders.
  • Experience with long sales cycles, technical solutions, and consultative selling.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office.
  • Bangalore‑based or willing to relocate.
