As an SMT Technical Support Engineer, You will lead electronics manufacturing customers with soldering solutions across SMT, Wave, and Selective Soldering processes. This customer-facing role combines process engineering, troubleshooting, training, and technical consulting to help customers improve quality, productivity, and manufacturing performance.
  • Optimize SMT soldering processes and resolve production issues.
  • Provide customer-facing technical support and product evaluations.

A Solder paste manufacturing firm based overseas and expanding operations in India in Semi Conductor industry.

Job Description

  • Optimize SMT solder paste printing, stencil design, and screen printer performance.
  • Monitor and improve reflow, wave soldering, and selective soldering processes.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing defects and implement process improvements.
  • Support customer product evaluations alongside sales and commercial teams.
  • Deliver on-site and remote technical support, training, and process diagnostics.
  • Analyze process data, prepare technical reports, and maintain CRM documentation.
  • Build strong customer relationships and provide application engineering support.
  • Collaborate with product development teams and support beta-testing activities

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience handling technical support activities.
  • Understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to review technical issues and find practical solutions.
  • Comfort working with production and engineering teams.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for technical discussions.
  • Ability to maintain accurate technical records.
  • B.E/B.Tech in electrical or electronics engineering
  • Strong Communication skills is a MUST
