Job Description

  • Monitor service reliability and spot issues before they affect users.
  • Use Datadog to track system health, alerts and service performance.
  • Set and maintain SLO/SLI measures to assess service reliability.
  • Improve observability across AWS-based services and infrastructure.
  • Investigate reliability issues and help restore stable service quickly.
  • Review monitoring data to identify recurring service risks.
  • Work with Technology teams to improve alerting and incident visibility.
  • Maintain clear dashboards and monitoring views for key services.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience improving reliability for cloud-based services.
  • Hands-on knowledge of observability practices and monitoring tools.
  • Confidence using Datadog for dashboards, alerts and service monitoring.
  • Understanding of SLO/SLI measures and how they support reliable services.
  • Experience working with AWS services and infrastructure.
  • Ability to investigate system issues using monitoring data.
