Our client is a leading precision equipment manufacturer in Karnataka and its products are used across transportation and industrial applications. It has one site operations in India and the plant is a state of art plant.

Job Description

Reporting into the Global Team and India MD, you will responsible for:

  • Overseeing production, planning, quality, logistics, and procurement while ensuring seamless alignment with global sites.
  • Championing a culture of excellence in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), ensuring the highest standards are consistently upheld across all plant operations.
  • Developing, implementing, and strengthening robust processes, systems, and procedures that effectively support business objectives and operational efficiency.
  • Fostering a continuous improvement mindset by identifying, nurturing, and driving innovative ideas to enhance productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness across all functional areas.
  • Leading the achievement of operational goals by consistently delivering on production targets related to cost optimization, product quality, on-time delivery, and workplace safety.
  • Driving operational excellence through Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Overseeing departmental financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and capital expenditure planning to support strategic growth.
  • Building and developing high-performing teams by coaching, mentoring, and strengthening capabilities of direct and indirect reports, while proactively addressing skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Holding overall accountability for financial, commercial, and administrative approvals to ensure governance, control, and business continuity.
  • Ensuring rigorous adherence to all process, system, and access governance frameworks, maintaining operational discipline and compliance.
  • Taking full ownership of plant-wide quality, safety, regulatory, and compliance standards, ensuring all statutory and organizational requirements are consistently met.

The Successful Applicant

  • You should have 18-25 years of overall experience and last 5 years in entire Site Operations experience.
  • You should have managed manufacturing operations in Small electronics industry/PCB assembly/EMS/IC/precision equipment industry.
  • You should have full time engineering degree and MBA will be preferred.
  • You should have experience in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and process optimisation methodologies and should have High level of quality awareness and operational excellence mindset
  • If you have worked with MNC; international exposure preferred
