To meet these objectives, the role will focus on three core areas: ServiceNow Solution Architecture & Design, Platform Development & Operations, and Technical Governance & Mentorship.

Job Description

  • Maintain deep, comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow's capabilities and constraints.
  • Understand the requirements from multiple stakeholders and advise on design and strategy of Service Now Platform by providing technical and architectural inputs
  • Ensure to minimize the degree of platform customization and utilize Out of the box features to accomplish user requirements
  • Work closely with the development team (internal / external) to get the requirements implemented within the committed timeframe and desired quality
  • Continuously explore new features provided in the platform with every new release and accordingly strive for improvements in the existing set-up
  • Coordinate the management of complex issues that may arise as the platform seeks to deliver benefits.
  • Define technical solutions aligned with client business problems at an architectural and design level of detail
  • Advise on integration of ServiceNow with other applications and toolsets
  • Collaborate with IT Leadership, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers.

The Successful Applicant

A successful ServiceNow Architect should have:

  • 10-12 years of experience in a similar role with strong know-how and hands-on experience in :
  • ServiceNow modules like IT Service Management, HR Service Delivery, Integrated Risk Management, IT Asset Management, OT Service Management
  • Designing and implementing CSDM
  • OOTB and Custom GenAI and Agentic AI capabilities offered by the platform
  • ServiceNow Platform design, including considerations for integration and performance, standardization, and best practice for platform management
  • Establishing an enterprise-wide technical architecture and implementation strategy for the ServiceNow platform
  • Hands-on experience in Platform and feature upgradation
  • Experience in providing technical governance to optimize platform performance and minimize long-term technical risk.
  • Health assessment (performance, manageability, usability, scalability, upgradability, and security) and drive improvement measures within the platform
  • Mentoring and consulting the development team with the best practices
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow integration capabilities with different tools / platforms including knowledge of IntergrationHub
  • Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
