Job Description

  • Manage SAN and NAS storage systems to maintain reliable access to business data.
  • Work with NetApp storage platforms and resolve storage-related issues.
  • Manage IBM SVC environments and help maintain storage performance.
  • Monitor storage capacity and plan changes to avoid service disruption.
  • Run backup activities and check that backup jobs complete as planned.
  • Investigate storage and backup alerts, then restore services quickly.
  • Work with Technology teams to deliver storage requirements for new and existing systems.
  • Maintain clear records for storage configurations, changes and backup activities.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Hands-on experience as a Storage Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of NetApp storage systems.
  • Experience working with IBM SVC.
  • Practical knowledge of SAN and NAS Storage.
  • Experience managing storage capacity and resolving storage issues.
  • Knowledge of backup processes and recovery activities.
