Job Description

The Senior Quantitative Research Analyst will be responsible for driving quantitative research and model development across the investment team, including:

  • Converting investment ideas into testable quantitative models using factor research, signal construction, and statistical analysis.
  • Building scalable and reproducible research frameworks using Python and data-driven methodologies.
  • Partnering closely with analysts and investment professionals to strengthen the evidence behind investment decisions.
  • Applying advanced statistical techniques to generate actionable insights and improve investment outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate for this role should have:

  • A strong academic background in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quantitative research, investment analytics, factor investing, or strategy backtesting.
  • Strong understanding of statistical techniques including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time-series modelling.
  • Advanced Python programming skills with hands-on experience in Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels, and Git.
  • Sound knowledge of financial markets, investment processes, and portfolio construction.
