Our client is a global manufacturer of engineered capital equipment serving continuous process industries. With a rapidly expanding manufacturing facility in Sri City, a strong three-year order book, and projects for leading metal producers in India and globally, the company offers an opportunity to lead procurement for complex, high-value engineering projects.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end procurement, expediting, and supplier management for our Sri City capital equipment manufacturing facility.
  • Drive strategic sourcing across raw materials, fabricated components, bought-out items, contract manufacturing, and engineering services.
  • Improve supplier performance, on-time delivery, cost optimization, and business continuity through structured procurement governance.
  • Partner with production, planning, engineering, quality, warehouse, logistics, and project teams to support manufacturing and project execution.
  • Build strategic supplier partnerships, strengthen vendor capability, and drive procurement digitization through SAP and analytics.
  • Lead and develop procurement and expediting teams while establishing a high-performance, execution-focused procurement organization.



The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will hold an Engineering degree with 20+ years of procurement leadership experience within heavy engineering, EPC, capital equipment, steel plant equipment, industrial machinery, or plant engineering. The individual should have managed ₹300+ Cr annual procurement spend covering raw materials, fabricated components, bought-out items, contract manufacturing, and supplier development. Strong understanding of the complete manufacturing lifecycle from fabrication and machining through assembly and quality is essential. Professionals from South India or those willing to relocate to Sri City are encouraged to apply.
