Job Description

  • Carry out penetration tests on applications, systems and technology platforms to identify security gaps.
  • Review test findings and explain the practical risk to relevant teams.
  • Document vulnerabilities clearly, with steps to reproduce and fix them.
  • Work with technology teams to validate fixes and confirm issues are closed.
  • Plan and run security testing activities in line with agreed priorities.
  • Keep test evidence and reports accurate, clear and easy to use.
  • Share practical security recommendations that help improve system protection.
  • Track recurring issues and help teams address the root cause.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience carrying out penetration testing across technology systems.
  • Knowledge of common application, network and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
  • Confidence using penetration testing tools to identify and validate security issues.
  • Ability to write clear technical reports with practical recommendations.
  • Experience working with technology teams to test and confirm fixes.
  • Good understanding of secure system and application practices.
